Here's how it works:

  • Hit the "Join the interactive show" button or the "Join the livestream on YouTube" button (though that's much less fun) below at 9:00 p.m. on Friday, October 2 to join.
  • Turn on your microphone and/or camera so we can hear everybody laugh and feel together (also: behave).
  • Our amazing comedians do 15 minute sets each.
  • You laugh a great deal.
  • Donate. We're not putting up a paywall since we want everyone to easily join but we'd appreciate your donating $5 (or more!). Everybody's gigs went poof so a bit of cash would be highly appreciated.

If that doesn't work for some weird reason, our PayPal account is: asembl@about.asemblco.com (paypal.com).

We also accept Venmo.

First, Grant Sheffield.

From ridiculous personal anecdotes on dating, jobs and getting older Grant Sheffield brings wit and sharp commentary for all audiences. Grant draws upon his southern upbringing, and multiple part time jobs to separate himself amongst his contemporaries. Grant has opened for the likes of Gary Gulman (HBO), Gina Yashere (Netflix), and Eric Schwartz( Showtime) to name a few.

He's currently touring clubs and venues across the country.

And finally, Amber Rollo.

Amber is a California girl who moved to New York in 2010. Her standup has a dark New York edge with a sunny California smile that makes her a joy to watch no matter the topic. She regularly hosts Judah Friedlander's shows on zoom. She has earned the title “Downright Rude” by confronting Harvey Weinstein when he showed up at a variety show in Manhattan, HW’s spokesperson described her actions in that way and she has worn those words as a badge since. She has been a guest on Full Frontal with Samantha Bee. She also headlined at the New York Comedy Festival.
