Here's how it works:

  • Hit the "Join the interactive show" button or the "Join the livestream on YouTube" button (though that's much less fun) below at 9:00 p.m. on Friday, September 23 to join.
  • Turn on your microphone and/or camera so we can hear everybody laugh and feel together (also: behave).
  • Our amazing comedians do 15 minute sets each.
  • You laugh a great deal.
  • Donate. We're not putting up a paywall since we want everyone to easily join but we'd appreciate your donating $5 (or more!). Everybody's gigs went poof so a bit of cash would be highly appreciated.

If that doesn't work for some weird reason, our PayPal account is: asembl@about.asemblco.com (paypal.com).

We also accept Venmo.

First, Jim Search.

Jim is a comedian, writer, human being and director. He was a semi finalist in NBC’s Stand Up For Diversity. Also he appeared in the Milwaukee Comedy Festival, Hoboken Comedy Festival and the Fun Fun Fun Fest in Austin, TX. Search co-hosts the podcast Swatches And Boomboxes with Neil Charles. He also hosts his own show Open Bar Talk With Jim Search, both available on iTunes and Stitcher. In addition, he does production for The Third Person with Darrell Hammond and Chris Millhouse. He wrote and directed the play Jessie The Catfish: A Comedy, which has been performed across New York City. Also, he co-hosts a monthly stand up show with Zilla Vodnas, Muddy Waters at The Fulton Grand in Brooklyn. Jim also hosts a hip hop trivia show Trivmatic located at Bierwax.
